Welcome to the Rochester Taekwondo Club and affiliated Clubs. Formed
in 1976 the club brings a rich heritage of the martial art called Taekwondo. Known best for the involvment in the Olympic
Games, Taekwondo is an ancient martial art originated in Korea around 2,000 years ago.
The Rochester Taekwondo
Club teaches the ancient practice as a martial art form for men, women, children and families. Both young and old benefit
from the rigors of training that involves sharpening the mind and conditioning the body.
Set in a structured environment,
students develop at their own pace. From the physical fitness to the relief of stress to the application to self defense,
Taekwondo has proved itself as a world class martial art. With over 120 countries participating and on the olympic program,
the traditional practice of Taekwondo is challenging and rewarding for old and young alike.
